New BW(ghost)F From JL!
Got in JL Forever Rel 14 at the store today. Got a 68 Road Runner, black with Ghost flames. Kind of tribal, but beggers can't be choosers. Haven't found a pic as of yet, but check your local shop for one!

BWF "Product of the Week"
Older BWF'ers will fondly recall the words "Hey kids, what time is it???"
But for this site, the answer is a bit different:
"IT'S BLACK WITH FLAMES TIME !!!!!!!"
We are always on the lookout for interesting items on the "Black With Flames" theme, and we've found a nice little addition for that BWF Hobby Room, to go along with those light switch covers. Who doesn't love this:
It's a cool Black With Flames wall clock! This baby is 8.75" and is handpainted. Just $35.00 and if you're interested in buying one, shoot me an e-mail and I'll send you the link. This site has a ton of BWF items, and I'd rather keep some things a surprise for future Products of the Week! (The black square isn't part of the clock, it's the background. The clock itself is round with a silver border)

I've been "slipping" lately!
My aplogies to everyone; I haven't been nearly as present here as I'd like to be the last few weeks. Too much work getting caught up with four classes, and trying to re-do four rooms in the house (plus clean a fifty year old basement!)
I appreciate those of you who have contributed during this lull, thanks for keeping the blog going!
I have wanted to look into switching the blog over to a regular website, and still intend to, but just haven't had the time. Keep the faith though, school ends next week and I'll have a bit more time to work on it.

Big welcome to cprathe !!!!
The BWF family has just grown a bit with the recent visit of cprathe, who I have seen on JLTalk and/or Swifty's Garage, I believe?
We look forward to seeing his postings on the blog in the future, but for now maybe he'd like to tell us a bit about his BWF collecting?

I recently stumbled upon an online photo editor and found it very fun to edit and play around with old photos in my personal gallery. Here are some shots that I edited using a cartoonish sketching feature.

New Matchbox for the collection!
Just picked up this rarely seen Ford Flareside pickup truck from Matchbox.
MB never did very many BWFs, so this is a welcome addition to the group. How many different BWF's has Matchbox done? Post your MB BWF here as well!

Diecast space BWF 49 Merc
Well, '49 Mercs and BWF cars are a passion, so I had to step up for the show special I had posted about earlier. I forgot how to post pics & am currently late for work, but check my earlier posts to see what it looks like. For the price, it was a bit much, but fortunately the 6 (I mean, 5) "regular" show cars will be sold so I'll at least break even.
Now the big dillema - I have a 1 of 492 and a 1 of 108 set of mirror image cars that are sweet and would look totally awesome in my display case - but then I lose the packaging that is kind of cool too. Open or not, that is the question....
