This is my attempt to post a picture on this blog. This is one of my all time favorite castings. Some cars just don't look right with flames. When I heard that JL was going to BWF a Challenger I was kinda "NNOOOOO!" but after seeing it they carried it off.
I will be taking more pictures in the next week after I finish off a die cast Movie car project I have been working on.
Any one know if there are any "Live Flames" ala Mike Lavallee one of the best modern airbrush artists.
Wooo Hoo Leigh, you did it!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteNow tell us all HOW you did it!
There are some "live flames" cars- actualy, trucks. They aren't 1/64, more like 1/50 or 1/55. Assuming I can figure out how to post pics, I'll put some up.
ReplyDeletewell I use photobucket but I an sure the all work the same. when I made the OP I pushed the insert image button, choose from URL and the cut and pasted the Direct link information ie: http://i286.photobucket.com/albums/ll112/snowowl1960/BWF.jpg I believe but not sure that when you push the insert image button it gives you several options I think one might be upload from your computer.
ReplyDeleteA big BWF welcome to Chud, aka 70XR7 (Mike Murray)!!!!!
ReplyDeleteMike, I sent you an "author" invitation. It seems that you have to accept that before this site lets you post pics! We now have 2/3 of the founders of the UOJLBWFC ..... if such a thing existed!
Can Nick Shonsky be far behind?
You'll have to pull Nick away from Halo to get him to post!
ReplyDeleteDid you get the latest bwf's? They came out in my shop this week!
Which castings, from which release, Mike?
ReplyDeleteFolks, Mike runs a hobby shop - I believe it's a Hobbytown shop? - down in Georgia. Mike, if you have a website, please feel free to post a link here. I think you can just put it in a comment?
We have a corporate address of www.hobbytownusa.com, or our individual site at www.htukennesaw.com
ReplyDeleteI sold out of one of the cars, it was a stock racer if I remember right. The other one was a 81 Malibu police car - one of the beat the heat series. Kind of lame on the flame, but BWF nonetheless.
