Our second BWF poll has closed, and the results are about what we expected.
The question was; which do you prefer, painted flames or ghost flames?
With 14 votes in, painted flames won the day, with 71% of the votes (10), to 28% (4) for ghost. Now, which diecast company has made the most ghost flames? I'd have to say Greenlight.
I count 5 GL and about 10 JL Rich

Welcome Gerry,Isn't the UTH corvette chrome w/flames? I have 19 GL BWF,I think there is 1 in the BB Mopar release (have to find it) so that would be 20
ReplyDeleteCan we get a true list of those GL's, Brad? Maybe some photos?
ReplyDeleteI had a list of the 630 BWFs in my collection up until my computer crashed a couple of months ago. I didn't have adequate back-up and now I have to re-list each and every car all overagain, unless I forwarded a copy of the list to either Roadwarrior or DadsCoronet, which I'm not sure I did.
I would have been able to tell at a glance how many GL's I had and which ones.
I think th UTH Vette is listed as chrome w/black flames. But the flames cover so much of the surface color with black, I was actually wondering how people felt about this one. If the flames are black and cover 50% of the car and the rest is chrome, this would make for an interesting debate. I haven't seen one up close. Looks pretty sharp in the pics I've seen though.
